Connors, Kimberley
Kimberley Connors was convicted in May 2009 of fraud by false representation and received a sentence of 50 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months with a 150-hour unpaid work requirement. She was also required to pay £500 in costs.
The CCRC received an application for review of the conviction in June 2023.
This was one of the CCRC’s “Post Office” cases, referred on the basis that the prosecution amounted to an abuse of process and that therefore there was a real possibility the appellate court would not uphold the conviction.
You can find out more about Post Office / Horizon cases on the CCRC’s dedicated hub.

The CCRC referred the conviction in March 2024.
The Crown Court quashed the conviction in May 2024.
