Today, three more men finally had their names cleared as the Court of Appeal quashed their convictions after they were jailed nearly 50 years ago on the word of a detective with the British Transport Police who was later found to be corrupt.

The convictions of two further ‘Post Office’ applicants, Mrs Adedayo and Mr Kalia, have today been quashed at Southwark Crown Court.

39 Convictions Quashed in Post Office Cases

The Court of Appeal has today (Friday 23 April) quashed the convictions in 39 Post Office cases after they were referred for appeal by the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC).
