Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) announces new Independent Non-Executive Director
The CCRC is proud to have appointed a new Independent Non-Executive Director (iNED) to its Board, supporting its governance and providing independent challenge and oversight to the executive team.
Jackie Mann brings to the CCRC more than 30 years’ HR experience in the UK and overseas and has worked in roles here and in the USA, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
She holds two other Non-Executive Director roles having served as a Board member and Committee Chair for Audit Scotland for the last six years, and with the Chartered Insurance Institute for the last five years.
Since 2018 Jackie has also been a serving Justice of the Peace in the Sheriffdom of Grampian, Highland and Islands, and was appointed as an Independent Investigator by the Scottish Government in 2022.
She has previously been a Board member for Developing the Young Workforce in northeast Scotland and served on the Children’s Panel for Scotland for ten years.
Jackie said: “I am delighted to be appointed to the Board of the CCRC. I very much look forward to working with Dame Vera Baird, the rest of the Board and the many talented and committed staff at the Commission in their hugely important work within the criminal justice system.”
