Join our next Annual Board meeting on 30 November

The Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) is inviting members of the public to its second annual Open Board meeting on 30 November.

Guests can register to attend the online event as an observer and get an insight into how the CCRC operates as the Board navigates its way through its agenda.

“We are offering this invitation out to everyone as a chance to observe this Board meeting,” said Chairman Helen Pitcher OBE. “Opening our doors in this way, albeit virtually, helps us to share the inner working and challenges faced here at the CCRC.”

The Public Board meeting takes place via Zoom on 30 November and begins at 10.30am. Zoom is secure, online meeting software. To join the meeting, you will need log in details provided by us and:

  • A device – a desktop computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet, on which you can access Zoom. (Download the Zoom application free by searching the internet for “Zoom app”)
  • A good broadband connection to the internet
  • A private location from which to take part in the meeting

There will also be an opportunity to submit a question before the event or during the Board using the Zoom chat function. For obvious reasons, we will be unable to respond to questions about individual cases.

Anyone wishing to register and be a guest to this event can email: openboard@ccrc.gov.uk.

For anyone that cannot attend but wishes to know more, the Board minutes of this meeting will be published on its website afterwards. The event will also be audio recorded.
