Pluck, Michael

Published:

Michael Pluck was convicted in May 1996 of murder and received a sentence of life imprisonment.

The CCRC received an application for review of the conviction in August 2007.

Following review, the CCRC concluded that fresh DNA evidence undermined a significant part of the prosecution’s case placing Mr Pluck at the scene of the murders and as part of a joint enterprise.

The CCRC referred the conviction in March 2009.

The Court of Appeal upheld the conviction in December 2010.
