Mr FB

Published:

Mr FB was convicted in December 2011 at Snaresbrook Crown Court of rape, sexual offences, kidnap, violence against the person, and blackmail. He received a sentence of eight years and two months’ imprisonment.

The CCRC received an application for review of the conviction in November 2013.

Following a detailed investigation, the CCRC decided to refer the convictions to the Court of Appeal because it identified new information which it considered raised a real possibility the convictions would be quashed.

The CCRC referred Mr FB’s case to the Court of Appeal in August 2015.

Issues relating to safety and security mean the CCRC can provide no further details of the case.
