Keogh, Robert

Published:

Robert Keogh was convicted in July 2003 of burglary and commission of an imprisonable offence before the expiry of a previous sentence following early release.

Mr Keogh received a sentence of one year and six months’ imprisonment for burglary and 22 weeks’ imprisonment for breach of licence.

The CCRC received an application for review of Mr Keogh’s sentence in May 2004.

Following review, the CCRC concluded that the sentencing judge had failed to properly credit Mr Murray for time served after he was administratively recalled to prison due to breach of licence.

The CCRC referred the sentence in May 2004.

The Court of Appeal reduced the sentence in May 2005.
