Since our creation in 1997, the CCRC has referred over 850 criminal convictions or sentences back to the appellate courts. Use the Case Library to browse cases and read summaries of our referrals.
To protect the identities of vulnerable individuals, all sexual offence cases, as well as all cases involving children, have been anonymised. Some other cases, such as those involving vulnerable asylum seekers, have also been anonymised.
